CLEMSON, SC (WACH) — Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant announced Tuesday night via Twitter that he has committed to play next season at Missouri.

Bryant left Clemson in September after the Tigers named freshman Trevor Lawrence the team's starting quarterback. Due to a new redshirt that was put in place at the start of this season, Bryant had an opportunity to transfer to another school without losing any eligibility since he played in just four games.

At the time, the news shocked the college football world as Bryant started the previous 18 games going 16-2 as the team's starting quarterback and led Clemson to an ACC Championship and College Football Playoff appearance.

Bryant will become immediately eligible to join the team for the upcoming season once his enrolls at the University.
