Solid Orange: the laptop special

COLUMBIA, SC (WACH)- On this week's Solid Orange, we aren't talking the College Football Playoff, or the upcoming Florida State match up, or the Tigers possibly clinching the ACC Atlantic Division, WE'RE TALKING LAPTOPS! (Just kidding, because we talk about all of those things and much more).

The Tigers found themselves in a mini scandal this past weekend when N.C. State's Head Coach, Dave Doerene, called for an "investigation" after he spotted laptop on Clemson's side (a laptop used on the sideline for coaching is against NCAA rules). This started, "laptop gate". Turns out, the fine piece of electronics belonged to the Tigers' Social Media Team.

The Solid Orange crew reacts to the so-called scandal. Robert Carswell, former Tiger safety, did not like Doerene's actions calling him a, "poor sport".

Zach Lentz, Clemson beat writer of the Times and Democrat, feels that Dabo Swinney used the "laptop gate" as a way to deflect the media (and fans) from focusing on Florida State's rough 3-5 record.

One more hot topic this week: What makes Robert vomit (hint: think of the 2017 Clemson Spring Game)! He explains why he's both happy and surprise that Clemson QB Kelly Bryant is one of 16 finalists for the Davey O'Brien award.

"Solid Orange" airs on Wednesday nights at 11 pm ET on WACH FOX.
