Sports Zone Starts Third Season

    Sports Zone is a local sports news show that is featured 5-nights per week on WACH FOX 57 at 11pm.

    Season 3 began on July 18th. 5th Quarter returns on August 17th.

    What's new for season 3?

    The biggest change is that Sports Zone is now LIVE most every night. In prior seasons it was necessary to record the shows in advance, but because of the shows popularity will now be broadcast LIVE. The shows are streamed too, available on wach.com and on our WACH mobile app. There's a new set, a new addition to the sports team with sports reporter/producer Mackenzie Miller, more guests, stories, and sports highlights! "WACH FOX has more sports coverage than anyone else in the Midlands... HANDS DOWN," said Corey Miller, aka The Pastor of Pain and sports anchor for WACH FOX.

    For those of you new to the Midlands, here is a short breakdown of Sports Zone:

    Monday at 11pm - The Huddle: Join the WACH FOX Sports Zone team every Monday at 11pm as they report on all the sports teams of the Carolina's. Expect a strong focus on the Carolina Panthers as the NFL takes off into its 99th season! If it's local, if it's sports, expect us to talk about it on The Huddle.

    Tuesday at 11pm - Chalk Talk: Hosted by former Gamecock Linebacker, Corey Miller, Chalk Talk is the Sports Zone show that goes deepest into the University of South Carolina's sports on its new night, Tuesday.

    Wednesday at 11pm - Solid Orange: Wednesday nights, Matt Dowell talks Tigers - with expert insight into Clemson sports. Guests, Highlights, and more.

    Thursday at 11pm - Overtime: We take a look at all the high school sports action going on across the midlands. Hosted by Corey Mller and Mike Uva. After watching FOX's Thursday Night football action, you'll be hungry for more sports, and Overtime is the perfect place to fill your plate with a late night snack full of High School goodness.

    Friday at 11pm - 5th Quarter: Mike Uva and Matt Dowell host the 5th Quarter - all the scores and highlights from midlands high school football and basketball. A perfect compliment to Sonic Friday Night Rivals, which airs on 57.2 starting at 7:30pm (Stadium) and features a marque Midlands high school football game-of-the-week every Friday night.
