Marsharia Adams

Marsharia Adams was born and raised in York, South Carolina. She joined the WACH FOX News team as a multimedia journalist (MMJ) upon graduating from the University of South Carolina, where she earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in theatre.

During her time at the UofSC, she served as a reporter, anchor and marketing director of Student Gamecock Television (SGTV) and served her community as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Marsharia's goal is to be a positive representation of Black women in the media by telling the stories that impact the community.

She is excited to give back to the midlands community that has served her during her time at UofSC. Go Gamecocks!
