Matt joined the WACH FOX Sports team in June 2016 as a sports producer/reporter. Matt was born and raised in the Charlotte, North Carolina area and attended Wake Forest University, where he got his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, before getting his Master’s in Sports Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University in 2014.

Matt has dreamed of being a sports broadcaster since he was a teenager. His first sports reporting job was in Bismarck, North Dakota where he worked for a year and a half (don’t hate! It’s an amazing state!) before moving to Columbia and joining the WACH FOX team. He is so excited to be back in the Carolinas where he can cover the best college sports in the country and his beloved Carolina Panthers.
